Welcome to Nexus. These terms are written to be read — short, plain, and
enforced exactly as written. By creating an account or using Nexus, you
agree to them.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your
credentials secure. Multi-factor authentication is required.
You are responsible for activity on your account. If you believe it
was compromised, change your password immediately.
One person, one account. Creating accounts to evade a suspension is
itself grounds for permanent removal.
2. Your content
Your content belongs to you. You grant Nexus only the
license required to store, transmit, and display it to the people you
send it to. We claim nothing more.
Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read them, and we
never will be able to — that is a design property, not a promise.
You are responsible for what you post. Posting content you don't have
the right to share is on you, not us.
3. The rules
The Community Guidelines are part of these
terms. The short version: illegal content, exploitation of minors,
harassment, doxxing, malware, and spam get you removed — quickly and
without much sympathy. Everything else, talk it out like adults.
4. Enforcement — how it actually works
Evidence-based, by design. Reports on Nexus can only
reference messages that actually exist on our servers, captured exactly
as they were sent. Nobody can submit outside “evidence” against you —
fabricated screenshots and AI-generated media have no pathway into our
moderation system. Moderators act only on what verifiably happened here.
Consequences scale: content removal → temporary suspension →
permanent removal. Severe violations (illegal content, exploitation
of minors) skip straight to permanent removal and, where required,
referral to authorities.
Moderation actions are logged and auditable internally.
To appeal an action, contact the operators with your username. Appeals
are reviewed against the same server-side evidence.
5. Service reality
Nexus is provided as is. We work hard on uptime and data
durability, but we do not guarantee either, and we are not liable for
losses arising from downtime, data loss, or other users' conduct.
We may modify or discontinue features. Material changes to these
terms will be announced in-app; continued use is acceptance.
6. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion is
immediate and permanent.
We can suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms. For
anything short of severe violations, we'll tell you why.
